Got an email from Candice of Mystic Inane, whom I wrote up a few months ago. They're in some trouble right on the verge of a tour:
Hi Friends and Family,
Some of you may have heard that our tour vehicle was hit by a train last night and is totaled. No one was in it and no one is hurt thankfully, but we are getting ready to leave on a 12 day tour to the Northeast that we have been planning for months. Right now, besides having my personal vehicle totaled and not covered by insurance, the band does not have a way to do this tour. I am writing first to say that we are going to make the tour happen! I am also writing to ask anyone who is in New Orleans to please come to our (hopefully) kick-off show on March 19th at Saturn Bar on St. Claude Ave. so we can raise as much funds as we can. If you are not able to come to the show and would like to chip in $5 or so please feel free to send to my paypal: candientity@gmail.com or send by mail to 3111 Palmyra Street New Orleans, La 70119. Thank you so much for your support and if you are on the East Coast, please come see us on our tour.
